This term, Uffington Class have been working on their speaking and listening skills as well as working with others. We thought about why we need to speak to others and how we can need to think about the words that we use. We tried different games to practise our speaking including a drawing challenge, a describing game, and Chinese whispers. When working together we completed different activities where we had to make sure we communicated with each other.
We had to try and throw and catch a balloon using just skipping ropes; we had to draw a spiral where we couldn’t touch the pen; we stacked cups using elastic bands and we had to do a ‘hoop waddle’ where we had to walk with a hoop and put it over a cone but we were not allowed to touch it with our hands.
